It's so great to be back... live and kicking at classes! . Nervous excitement for me heralded the start of the week with the first classes back online in Lindsey Fitness Home and F2F classes back in Ware and
Welwyn Garden City following surgery last month.
The Aerobic classes at Presdales, Monks Walk and Wodson Park were such fun to teach, you worked so hard at following my verbal and visual cues - I can't wait to keep up with you as my strength and fitness returns!
I will be continuing taking it steady but am feeling just wonderful with the love and encouragement from members.
Thank you for the support and its been great to stay 'in touch' seeing members undiminished with keeping fit using the library of videos and online workouts available - just brilliant!
So back to business it is with fitness and the September Reset. This time of year is traditionally a fresh start ...the new School or University year, the start of Autumn , maybe a new job or getting back to work away from home, but what about YOU? Your health? Your weight? Your fitness?
A memory came up earlier this week from 3 years ago when I introduced the Placebo Diet weight loss programme element to Lindsey Fitness classes. Created and written by Janet Thomson (pictured) it is 'the' ultimate solution to weight loss without 'dieting' and I continue to feel privileged to deliver it. I love helping people to help themselves and break free from years and
years of the 'on it, off it, next fad diet, bury head in sand' syndrome never to no great effect.
With the pandemic and subsequent lockdowns I took the Placebo Diet online and now deliver a weekly nutritional coaching talk on all aspects of the programme. I am always available to Lindsey Fitness members 7 days a week for advice and support too. Its a joy to work with and see people achieve and then maintain weight loss - after all we are forever a work in progress.
The hugely popular mentored 14 Day Reset programme , is run in a private Facebook group 6 times a year. It is a great place to fast start a path to better health and consequent sustainable weight loss and many go on to do it 2/3 times a year to 'deep clean' as part of an established health regime.
The September Reset has now started and I'm doing it as well alongside a full group of 20 participants. I am hand holding everyone through the day by day preparation week with our 14 Day Reset starting next Monday . We'll be cooking and feasting on wonderfully nutritious meals to balance blood sugar and hormone levels, implementing and understanding the healing effects of the fasting windows, addressing mindset and eliminating cravings
and bad habits with audios and videos from Janet and sharing our experiences. Daily Facebook posts, weekly Zoom chats and mini HiiT workouts - its a failsafe forum that gets results like no other.
