How was your early May Day Bank Holiday weekend?
Perhaps you ventured out for a walk, visited somewhere different or maybe an outdoor lunch or evening meal with friends as I did. There is certainly an air of optimism with talk of 2nd COVID vaccinations for many, staycation holiday bookings made, weddings and birthday celebrations planned.
How lovely to be starting to spend real time with friends and family again. How did you feel, how did they feel? - Happy to be back doing something relatively 'normal'? Or was the excitement tinged maybe with some anxiety, stress or worry about 'coming out' of our enforced lockdown hibernation? For me there is still a degree of nervousness especially when I see others blatantly not adhering to the guidelines still
in place, in order to manage our way back safely and effectively. Emotions like this can however get the better of us, they can become heightened and exaggerated to the point they are detrimental to our health and mental wellbeing.
So I go back to my original question of how DO you feel...or having met up with some family and friends did you notice HOW are they feeling?
