All change again it seems........ Saturdays news plunged us into Tier 4 and near 'Lockdown' again, and for many the need to change plans for the Festive Season .
It was clearly necessary and in a way feels safer to me already - so lets be positive about this.. It really is about focusing now on what we can do and not dwelling on what we can't. Let's find gratitude for something in every day, lets be the very best version of who we can be and what we can do to embrace that.
Yes I, as I am sure you too felt very deflated on hearing Saturdays news, I had a wallow about it, spoke to family and friends, tapped and moved on .So how can I help me, how can I help you and others through this Lindsey Fitness platform?
So I thought about what lifts me - running lifts me, but recovering from an injury at the moment means I can't, so my Sunday runday became a 10km power walk and some planning.....
I have decided to sponsor myself for every mile and every workout over the next 2 weeks - The running club is currently fundraising to purchase a defibillator as part of our first aid kit - I have printed off a calendar, stuck it on the fridge (priming) and have planned and will be doing something everyday over the festive period
. I videoed my intention to the running Club page (accountability) and am delighted several others have decided to do likewise. We have restarted our Just Keep Moving Initiative and the miles have been totting up between us since last Sunday!
