Focus on what you can do , not what you can't
Whether you are still working, or are currently furloughed , retired or on your own at this time.....you are not alone so make the effort to :
* Have a good daily routine that includes physical exercise everyday - Lindsey
Fitness Home offers a variety of exercise sessions for all ages , levels and abilities
to challenge and build your fitness and literally lift your mood .Literally from my
lounge to your home at the touch of a button at a time to suit you - so get some in!
Try a different session or just a part of it ...go on challenge yourself!
* Eat only the food that will truly love you back, food that will lift you and nourish
you. Remember you are what you eat! Processed and junk food will depress
your mood and immunity and will cause you unwanted weight gain. The Placebo
Diet programs and coaching at Lindsey Fitness are designed to acheive optimum
health with weight loss.the happy consequence.
* Stay connected to others via Social Media platforms - ZOOM, Facebook,
Whatsapp.....etc - Our 'Girl Talk' and 'Raise a Glass' Zoom Chats have proved so
important for a social connection each week. It's good to talk!
'Pop in' every Friday
* Get outside everyday in the fresh air even if for just 10 minutes in a lunch or
coffee break. Go for a walk or go for a run maybe to lift your mood or just to breathe some fresh air
* Practice Mindfulness - focus on the present moment. The morning Mobilisation
and Mindfulness session remains one the most popular classes and has become
a non negotiable staple start to the day for many - including me!. It will leave you calm, balanced and energised for whatever your day ahead brings.
* Set yourself goals -a mental challenge to learn a new skill or a physical
fitness challenge maybe. The Lindsey Running Club 'Just Keep Moving' initiative
during the first lockdown resulted in members acheiving nearly 15,000 miles
between us. I have this week relaunched it for November. There are plenty
of virtual challenges to enter online too
* Take time out to relax - find time to just sit quietly reading, listening to some
soothing music or a meditation. A 'pattern interrupt' for mind and body to just chill.
