This week also heralded the start of my first class for the Welwyn Hatfield Branch of Parkinson's UK - I have observed these classes for the last couple of months am and so pleased to be working with this very lovely group of people who I am getting to
know really well now - such fun lot!
The talk in class this week has continued on focusing on personal goals and what you really want to achieve whether weight loss, fitness or any thing else in life and how to do just that

So have you been thinking about what you've been thinking about
this week? Have you been CLEAN thinking? Remember the Buddha’s quote “What you think – you become”. If that were true, then what have you become this week; have you become slimmer? Lighter? If you have, it’s a direct result of your thinking. If you haven’t, it’s a direct result of your thinking. Your mind works like a Sat Nav with your thoughts steering your life in a certain direction. So where are you headed?
Repeating the same old thoughts that made you fat (or
unhappy or dissatisfied in any area of your life) is like putting an old address into a Sat Nav after you've moved house and wondering why you can’t find your way home. In short – repeating the same old thoughts means that your yesterday’s become your tomorrows. So if you want what you had in your yesterdays that’s fine, but if you don’t, you need to reprogram the thoughts that are currently directing your behaviours
If you're happy with your rate of weight loss then
it will just reinforce all the things you have already changed, but if you would like to lose more weight then you need to make more changes! And then you need to repeat these changes every day, no matter how small they are. When it comes to weight loss – every little really does help because every thought you have forms part of your overall attitude
It’s quite simple – new thoughts lead to new choices, which lead to new behaviours, which lead to new outcomes and
results, which leads to new emotions. This life is your personal evolution. So what are you evolving into? Are you leaving it to chance – or are you choosing your tomorrow?.
Let me leave you this week with this thought: you cannot create anything new from the known, you have to step into your own personal unknown, this is where your dreams and goals become your
personal reality.
