Hello There
Have you seen all the Christmas ads appearing on the TV this week? - and Christmas is still almost 2 months away.....well actually 7 weeks and 5 days, but whose counting anyway ;.)!
Frank the Vizsla is feeling pretty smug after his inaugural
Doggy Dash of 10 miles last Sunday for the Isabel Hospice. This was followed by a flurry of further donations taking his fundraising so far to £200 which he is very wagful for! We'll be adding more miles across November.
This week we talk about intention setting and achieving goals - something I do consistently for myself and have also done for others over many years. Whatever your age, young, old or in between and whether
it's a fitness, health, weight loss or some other personal goal , its a positive, mindful and brilliant thing to do. I love working with the Reset groups through the year and now with a 'stable' of 121 clients. The first step is wanting to change something, and really wanting to change - for good. Then I can help you to start to help yourself!
The
Resetters work as a team to a proven strategy over 3 weeks - in this case the Placebo Diet Colour Fast Reset - it's succinct, effective and fast . It proves a solid stepping stone to change for the better and the confidence and know how to take it forward.. I also work individually with clients, who are guided and encouraged to set their own measurable baby steps towards a goal, on their own terms. Visualisation of the longer term goal and accountability without feeling overwhelmed is key
to this process of change. 'Baby steps make bigger strides' as the client becomes empowered and starts to realise and achieve their true potential - which was in fact there all along - I just help open the door!
Its a fascinating and rewarding process for me to see clients evolve in this way.
There will be a group Reset in January and some more spaces for 121 clients after
Christmas - What a way to start YOUR NEW Year?
This weeks Food Matters recipe is a rather indulgent one, that I just had to share from Gary's lovely Mum - Vodka Pasta - who knew?? because I certainly didn't!!!! Definitely one for a special occasion. I added peas and prawns to ours. - as I had to have something green and also a protein element with such a luscious
dish.
Have a great week in health and fitness, see you in classes!
