We are almost there ...... Christmas 2022 this coming weekend, and precious time to spend with loved ones, family and friends ... to eat, drink and be merry.
But let's remember
that the most important thing to consider here is YOU and your body, just as it is every other day of the year. You are always a reflection of how you treat yourself physically and nutritionally, everyday of every week. But..... Your body is not you, its the amazing place where YOU live, and it works 24/7 trying to look after you .
Make sure you are still giving it what it needs to do that this Christmas - so along with everything that you will be eating and drinking try to remember
...
* Gut Health - Kombucha and/or Kefir should be top of the list and the first thing you have everyday!
* Try not to overeat - plan what you will have, how much and when. Love the food that really will love you back!
* Eat mindfully - choose to have something over the 'just have' or 'just one
more won't matter' mentality. It's a slippery slope!
* Incorporate some fasting windows - allowing the gut to rest, and the body to do some of it's important 'house keeping' uninterrupted.
your body will love you for it.
* Hydration matters - drink plenty of water regularly to aid digestion, hydration ....and minimise hangovers!!!
* Exercise
matters too ....Plan walks in the fresh air or exercise sessions online with Lindsey Fitness from my lounge to your home at a time and duration to suit you.
* Switch off - make time for you, just to sit and relax amid the mayhem.
read, listen to some music or meditate.
* Set your intention - for 2023 now
to be the best version of you - always!
