The weather has changed somewhat ...and with the clocks going back, the darker nights draw in so quickly! BUT..... it is NOT the time for us as humans to hibernate. It's time to reassign your activity and nutrition in the coming months in order to be the
best version of you, fit for the purpose of doing whatever you want to do!
Activity and good nutrition that will boost your metabolism, your immunity, your mood, your fitness ... in fact enrich your life! I celebrated my 60th Birthday last weekend ..... a big number, a milestone in fact! I was thoroughly spoiled by friends and family for which I am truly grateful. It was also lovely to get so many compliments on being 60 and not looking..... or behaving it !
A lovely birthday walk on Sunday (in the rain) with over 30 members of the running club, it was impressive! More than anything it made me so happy and fulfilled to see my members aged from thirties to nearly eighties walking , talking, enjoying time with others despite the terrain and weather conditions. These are Lindsey Fitness members who walk, power walk and run 5km to Marathons. They come to classes, take part in online sessions and weight loss
programmes if needed for flexibility, mobility, strength and cardio vascular fitness. The friendship, camaraderie, encouragement and support of each other is so much a part of life enrichment too.

It's not about doing everything, it's
about doing something little,something more for your future wellbeing. It's very true that smaller steps make bigger strides!
Increasing your level and type of activity just a little maybe, addressing your nutrition, your eating habits and thoughts around food. Losing excess weight can help your mobility and ability no end.
