I hope you have enjoyed a thoroughly lovely Bank Holiday Weekend. Spending time with family and friends, trips out maybe or a walk in the Spring sunshine - it was certainly a glorious few days! With the Beach Party routine in full floe at classes, thoughts now turn to Summer holidays, family weddings and parties and for Lindsey Fitness Running Club members Marathon training.

So how are you feeling?.... how are you looking?... and what are you doing to be the best version of you for all you have planned this Summer?

With those travel, days out and holidays at home and abroad ahead I thought I would this week just remind members to ensure that they, their families, friends and acquaintances all have the What 3 Words app downloaded to their phones. You just never know when and more importantly where you might need to get emergency help - fast!

The Simplest way to talk about location ......

Street addresses and postcodes aren’t accurate enough to specify precise locations, such as building entrances, and don’t exist for parks and many rural areas. This makes it hard to find places and prevents people from describing exactly where help is needed in an emergency.

What 3 words how does it work?

what3words starts by dividing the entire globe into squares that are three by three meters, a convenient area size to give an accurate location without overwhelming the system or user.

The emergency service will use the what3words address to see exactly where you are and send help. The what3words app works offline – ideal for areas with unreliable data connection.

Please tell everyone you know about the app, so useful for so many other things as well, but you can't put a price on saving a life.

We meet at 7.45am for a 3-4 mile walk.
